QC Inspectors

Duties:
Inspectors are required to read blueprints and schematics to inspect the quality and tolerance on finished products and write reports on their quality.


Job Summary



Perform general supervision of shop floor Quality Assurance personnel. Execution of company Quality programs and standards. Ability to work independently, make decisions on acceptance/rejection of product, supervise QC inspectors and assist as required, prioritize jobs to meet production schedules, perform audits, supervise, administer and process Material Reviews and Deviation Waiver Requests and investigate defects to determine root cause. This job also involves assisting in any/all other aspects of the quality department as needed.





Essential Functions



? Oversee the Inspection of PCB assemblies to IPC 610 class III

? Oversee the Inspection of machined parts to drawing requirements

? Supervise shop floor QC Inspectors and their work

? Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and suppliers

? Recommend improvement is work flow and inspection processes

? Training of new employees and new processes

? Supervise and administer the MRB process

? Supervise and administer the Deviation Wavier process

? Ensure ESD policy compliance

? Maintaining QC updates to production schedule

? Perform internal audits

? Support Health, Safety and Environmental programs

? Approve time cards

? Ensure compliance to company policies

? Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the companys discretion.


Requirements:

Requirements:
Must have the ability to read blueprints, have good math and technical skills. Must have verifiable references.


Job Requirements and Qualifications



Education:

? High School diploma or GED

? College a plus



Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):

? IPC 610 Certification (must pass certification within 90 days of employment)

? J-Standard 001 Certification (must pass certification within 90 days of employment)

? Customer?s Workmanship Certification (completed after hire)





Knowledge Requirements:

? Extensive knowledge of IPC 610 (all three classes)



Experience:

? Preferred - 5 years of PCB inspection

? Preferred ? minimum of one year in a lead role
